Welcome

A self proclaimed Accidental Artist who found her way back to art after 20 years.  There is no doubt this was all part of the Lord's plan.  Kristin Snyder Kash. This is me. An Accidental Artist.

About Me

Married to Greg, Mom to Mason and Dog Mom to the late Sarge & Salt and the little ones Hank & Fin. In 2011, I found my way back to the creative place I loved as a child by accident, unless of course, you believe things happen for a reason…and I do.

A lifetime resident of North Carolina, I attended the same school, K-12, then graduated from NCSU and entered the workforce with CitySearch, then WRAL-TV. I’m a Lover of sunshine, summer, hot weather, laughter, dogs, family, friends, candy, painting, tennis and bright colors, especially yellow.

In 2011, everything changed when my daddy—a retired radiologist turned artist—passed away. I was juggling a full-time job, a young son, and caring for my mom, recently diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. While sorting through her home, I kept returning to Daddy’s basement studio filled with canvases and paint. That’s where I began to heal—and paint.

What started as a few gifts soon turned into requests to buy my art, and House of Kash, home of the “Accidental Artist,” was born.

Today, my husband still puts up with me, my son’s off to college, and our dogs keep life lively. After 11 years, my mom joined my dad in heaven, and I’m still painting—bright, joyful art inspired by faith, family, and gratitude. Through my work, I love supporting community causes and sharing the happiness that art brings
